In 2007 I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Theater Secondary Education.  I was the theatre director and teacher in Lake Havasu City, AZ and in then again in Kearney, NE. In 2014 I graduated with my masters degree in school counseling.  I worked at Giltner Public School as the K-12 School Counselor for 3 years before coming to Amherst Public School.  My husband and I married in 2015. His name is Matt Sorensen and he owns Warren-T Plumbing in Kearney and is a Master Plumber. In 2019 we had our daughter Georgia Jean! She is a joy! The three of us are planning on building a home right outside of Amherst and look forward to being a part of the Amherst Community!
